Irby Cooper Alumni Basketball Game
This annual event, which was initiated in 1991, pits the Yeshiva Macs varsity team players against a team of alumni players of all ages from all around the United States. The game honors the memory of the late Irby Cooper, a past president of MHA/FYOS who was a dear friend and benefactor of the school and a strong supporter of the Yeshiva Macs team. The event, which is preceded by an informal pizza dinner, supports the school's athletic program.
The 17th Annual Alumni Game was played on Sunday, February 17, 2008. It was one of the most exciting Alumni Games with the Yeshiva Macs winning 50-46 to pull ahead in the series with 9 wins.
The Pre-Game with boys in grades 4 through 7 and the Half-Time Game with boys and girls in grades 1 through 3 added to the incredible school spirit in the MHA/FYOS gym.
