Feinstone Yeshiva of the South
Feinstone Yeshiva of the South is composed of two separate high schools: Cooper
Yeshiva High School for Boys and Goldie Margolin School for Girls. Both schools
are located on our spacious campus in East Memphis. There are separate dorms
for our out-of-town high school students within easy walking distance of each
school.
Our schools are college preparatory and nearly 100% of our graduates go on to
colleges or universities. Almost all of our graduates spend a year in Israel
right after high school studying at yeshivas or seminaries.
Students at Feinstone Yeshiva of the South come from many varied backgrounds and
educational experiences. We encourage this diversity by accepting students with
little or no Hebrew background. We have established a "Fresh Start
Program" in both high schools to bring students up to par in a very short
period of time with wonderful results. Our small class size allows personalized
attention to each student.
Our outstanding faculty, many of whom have been at the schools for several
years, optimize the classroom time available in our dual curriculum. Our
students consistently score well on ACT and SAT exams. Our graduates have been
accepted to some of the finest schools in the country including Barnard
College, Boston University, Columbia University, Princeton, University of
Maryland, University of Pennsylvania and Yeshiva University.
