Financial Aid FAQ 

 

Q: How do I file for Financial Aid?

  • Families filing for financial aid for the 2024-2025 academic year must submit a FACTS application. To access the FACTS website click here or click the link located under the “Admission” tab on the MHA-FYOS homepage.

 

Q: What is the deadline to submit my FACTS application?

  • FACTS applications must be submitted by April 17, 2024.

 

Q: What documents do I need to upload for FACTS?

  • FACTS requires families to upload their most recent tax return. All families must upload their 2023 W-2(s) and/or 1099(s) information and their 2023 tax return. Applications will not be processed without this information.

 

Q: What happens after I submit my FACTS application?

  • Once your FACTS information has been processed, it will be sent to a third party administrator for financial aid determination.

 

Q: How do I find out my financial aid determination?

  • Your financial aid determination will appear on your tuition agreement. 

 

Q: Am I able to appeal my financial aid determination?

  • Yes, if your financial situation has changed since your application was submitted, you may submit an appeal. All appeals must be submitted by June 1, 2024. In addition to the letter, please include any pertinent supplemental information that was not included in your FACTS application. Appeals will be reviewed by an independent third party.
