Lower School Librarian & Middle School Humanities/Language Arts Instructor (Part-Time or Full-Time)

 

Margolin Hebrew Academy is seeking a dynamic and dedicated educator to serve as a Lower School Librarian and Middle School Humanities/Language Arts Instructor for the 2026–2027 school year. This position may be structured as either part-time or full-time, depending on the candidate’s qualifications and availability.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a B.A. in Education or a related field

  • Have several years of librarian and classroom teaching experience

  • Demonstrate the ability to engage and inspire students across a range of academic abilities

  • Possess strong communication and organizational skills

  • Foster a love of reading, literature, and learning in students

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and developing the lower school library program

  • Teaching Humanities and Language Arts courses in middle school grades

  • Collaborating with faculty and administration to support student growth and achievement

Lower School Rebbi/Morah

The MHA-CYOS is seeking a lower school Judaic Studies Rebbi/Morah who is passionate about Torah learning, Jewish life, and nurturing the next generation of young Bnot and Bnei Torah. The ideal candidate will create a joyful, engaging, and caring classroom environment rooted in Torah learning, middot tovot, yirat Shamayim, and ahavat Eretz Yisrael.

Qualified Candidates will:

  1. Have experience teaching Judaic Studies in an Elementary School setting

  2. Possess strong textual and Judaic knowledge appropriate for the elementary level

  3. Demonstrate creativity and flexibility in designing engaging, meaningful lessons for diverse learners

  4. Foster a warm, positive, and wholesome classroom atmosphere rooted in Torah values

  5. Inspire a love for learning, mitzvot, Jewish practice, and connection to the Am and Eretz Yisrael
