MHA-FYOS students celebrate the miraculous founding of the state of Israel and its tremendous importance to World Jewry. To encourage a personal love for the state of Israel among its students, MHA students begin studying Ivrit in Early Childhood. Our students are also provided opportunities to make meaningful connections with Bat Ami and Kollel Torah Mitzion visiting faculty from Israel throughout their schooling.

Students in all divisions join together with the broader Memphis Jewish community to celebrate Yom Ha'atzmaut by parading through the streets of the school neighborhood. Most of our graduates go on to spend at least one year of post-high school study in Israel.

Additionally, starting in 2019, our Junior High students will take an educational trip to Israel every other year.
